Sex manuals of ancient time informed us, Tantra promises a swift direct path to union with the Divine force via sex. It is based on the theory that the universe was once a perfect whole. And then, wham that it is split into two, male and female, positive and negative, force and form, yin and yang-call it what you may. The tantricks call it shiva and shakti and say that only when these two opposites are united in endless intercourse, can Nirbana be obtained. It is a statement that seems to sit uneasily with the tenets of Hinduism and Buddhism which seek to liberate the spirit from the physical body. Barely 50 years ago was the Tantric cult regarded with prejudice and horror? Rumours abounded of unorthodox occult practices, of sex with a dead body (necrophilia), Sex with animals (bestiality), of drinking human blood. The Tantric masters, it was said, sucked the vital energy from innocent virgins like vampires, in order to refuel their magical powers. It was whispered that they could fly, become invisible, and live forever. People were also warned about do it yourself tantra and told tales of stark raving mad proponents who had tried to raise kundalini before they were ready. Today however tanrtic sex is seeing second coming. According to its present day disciples, tantra is very explicit about what kind of person should practice it. the ancient kularnara tantra specially rejects the glutton, the lecher, the shameless, the avaricious, the hypocrite, the voluptuous, the alcoholic. Some schools of tantra are so concerned about lechery that they practice tantra without sex, maintaining that it is quite enough to perform Maithura(Intercourse) in your mind, by visualizing the symbolic union of Shiva and Shakti. Tantra views sexuality as a universal nourishing force, a tool for transformation. The female shakti, or kundalini energy, rises from its nest or chakra at the base of the spine to the top of its head, where it united with shiva, the male part. The result? In two words, cosmic copulation. Instant bliss. In very exclusive, very stict tantrict schools at least a year learning the Intricate techniques, meditating on the six chakras i.e hidden energy centers that lie along the spinal column, practicing mantras, strengthening the mescles needed for lengthy sexual forays, only when all these preliminaries have been honed to perfection can the sadhaka graduate to Maithura or ritual tanrtic sex, in which the penis is kept erect inside the vagina for hold your breath 32 minutes. No thrusting or ejaculation allowed. A basic tenet of tantra is that a man finds his sexuality through the woman and, by withholding his ejaculation; the woman is allowed to reach her true orgasm.the first skill to be mastered is to exercise the muscles involved in erection again and again, so that the man produces an erection strong enough to hold up a handkerchief and even a glass of water. Ad he gains control he should be able to relax the erection and then regain it, building up to a cycle of four erections. The real experts, of course, can keep this exercise going for hours at a stretch. Women also do this exercise. She learns how to manipulate her vaginal muscles to hold the penis still and hard. For starters the simply contracts the pubococcygeal muscle which controls urination. The next step is clutching and letting go of a wooden egg, before progressing to the real thing. At the end of it all she not only learns to experience the big o, but to ejaculate. In three ways, that is, three kinds of fluids, firstly there is the lubrication produced from arousal. Secondly, there is the fluid emitted during a normal orgasm. There are some practitioners who believe that for true tantra there should be no emotional attachment to interfere with the sacrament. Such tantriks may use prostitutes as partners or participate in the Choli Marg, in which an equal number of men and women meet. Most modern tantriks have ritual sex only with monogamous partners. Both sexes live together in one house were they devote themselves to a perpetual cycle of tantrik discipline before entering a house you have to undergo a complete physical test, including AIDS, Hepatitis B, and STDs and fill in a detailed medical questionnaires. Sex outside the house is banned. Condoms are not used because it is believed that bodily fluids have potent powers. After sex partners gently wash one another’s genitals, mingle the water and then drinks it. Partners may be changed by mutual consent after at least two months. You can also really attain salvation through sensuality believes the tantra.Tantra is the fusion of the body and spirit, which is why erection, penetration, orgasm, ejaculation are considered sacred.
